My Finca

This Finca was built in 1992 and consists of 3 apartments. 2 downstairs (The Lark Lair and the Fox´s Den) and 1 above (The Eagle's Nest) as well as 4,000 m2 of garden. 1.000 m2 has Tamarillo plants (tree-tomatoes) and the rest is a wild, wonderful and lovely garden where you can find trees of lemons, plums, mandarin, almonds, medlars and many flowers.

The finca is quiet and secluded in the mountains at 625 m in a small mountain village. A RENTAL CAR is STRONGLY recommended to travel to and visit the island (see "The Island").

It is very quiet here, secluded and surrounded by great nature - but in a low mountain range! In other words, hilly and in winter it gets very fresh up here. No problem for real nature lovers. I've lived here without heating for 4 years ^^ I just move more, go on a lot of hikes, you can leave the car there and go up into the great pine forest right behind my finca!

It is also very steep (18-20%) gradient, so you have to be really fit (or young ^^).

For older semesters and couch potatoes, I recommend looking for something "down on the beach in the sun" ^^

The finca is located on the slope of the TEIDE volcano, at about 620 m altitude in the village of "Los Piquetes", Icod de los Vinos

Its a two-storey house, with the 2 Apartments are downstairs and above- On the roof terrace you can find table, witch chairs and multi-GYM to exercise^^

There is also a very large "sun terrace" with a chill-out sofa, armchairs, table and chairs, electricity and a pergola

Since the finca is located on Teidehang, the approximately 3,000 m2 garden is divided into about 6 landscape terraces, each with about 2 m difference in height.

The last two, lower terraces (5 and 6) are the largest and are still waiting for an idea of planting ..., but also with the wild grass, quite pretty!

In addition to the garden there is a 1,000 m2 additional area. That will be very delicious and healthy "tree-tomatoes" (Spanish: Tamrillo), I hope :-)

From the roof terrace you can marvel at beautiful sunsets and the neighboring island "La Palma"
